At the very outset, I welcome one and all to the newly launched website of Manipur Staff Selection Commission (MSSC), which has started functionality w.e.f. 2nd September 2024 at the Extension Training Center Office Building of RD & PR Department located within the office complex of DC Office, Imphal West, Lamphelpat with few skeleton officers/officials assigned to the Commission in addition to their normal duties, who are also looking after other Departments.
The main objective of the newly established Commission is to conduct examination and select candidates for appointment to the subordinate services/posts to the Government Departments, Organizations and Autonomous Bodies, Semi-Government Organizations etc.
As the 1st Chairperson of the Commission, I fully understand that I have lots of challenges and difficulties to make the new Commission fully functional in all respect, to ensure implementation of the provisions of the Manipur Staff Selection Commission Act, 2022. With lots of responsibilities on my head, I am quite confident that I along with my team of the Commission will be able to make the Commission fully functional at the earliest, of course with the full co-operation of all concerned Stakeholders. The Commission requires immediate placement of at least some optimal full time officers/officials who are fully dedicated as well as exclusively independent on permanent basis. To expedite the matter, we have since moved to the e-office filing system. The State Government had already been requested for allotment of land for construction of independent office building, other required infrastructures etc. amongst other requirements. The Logo of the Commission approved by the Government incorporates “Perseverance, Honesty & Dignity”. Our mission will be to win the confidence of the general public more particularly the aspiring job seekers to have full faith and trust in the Commission. We are committed to ensure transparency, fairness and efficiency in the recruitment process. The selection process will not be influenced by any kind of external consideration under any circumstance. The Commission will try its best level to embrace latest Information Technology to streamline and make the recruitment process more robust.
Our website being launched will be candidate friendly and designed in such a way that all required information related to the Commission are/being uploaded and the aspiring candidates need not come to the Commission physically at all time.
